The Pensacola State College Lyceum Series is pleased to welcome Joy Harjo, Poet. Harjo is the first Native American to be honored as United States Poet Laureate, and only the second poet to be appointed a third term as U.S. Poet Laureate. She is the author of 10 books of poetry and three award-winning children's books. Harjo has also won numerous awards, including the 2024 Frost Medal from the Poetry Society of America and Yale’s 2023 Bollingen Prize for American Poetry.
